Children's Burns Club

Filming a fundraising video for Children’s Burns Club charity.

Charity fundraising video

Children’s Burns Club asked us to produce a video as part of a club relaunch and to be used as a promotional asset to be used in their wider digital marketing and charity fundraising campaigns.

Founded by Pat Wade MBE, Children’s Burns Club is a non-profit organisation that provides opportunities and support to children and their families after receiving a burn injury or other injury/illness that has led them to need specialist burns care.

'Our aim for the club is for the activities and workshops to be a stepping stone for people, to increase their ability to lead the life they want to lead when they in their school, with their friends, in their community.'

Video storytelling using personal stories and expert interviews

The fundraising video was filmed at one of the Children’s Burns Club Family Fun Day’s which offer families the opportunity to meet and share experiences with other families who have been through and/or are still going through the journey that occurs following a burn injury. These days are full of fun activities allowing children, siblings and even adults to develop their confidence and learn new skills.

The final three minute edit included moving personal stories from young burn survivors and their families with insights from with the club psychologist on the supportive and therapeutic benefits of the fun and challenging activities that the club fun days and events offer.
